Rights Holder Support
Copyright Removal Request
Use this page if you own, publish or are authorized to represent material that appears in the SCHOLIX Resource Library and you want it reviewed, corrected or removed.
SCHOLIX Policy Center
Clear information for students about free learning access, privacy, content use and service delivery.
Who Should Submit a Request?
Submit a request if you are the copyright owner, author, publisher, trademark owner, or a person authorized to act for the relevant rights holder. Students may also report a possible rights issue, but a formal ownership claim should identify the actual rights holder.
Information We Need
Please include enough detail for SCHOLIX to locate and evaluate the resource:
- the exact SCHOLIX resource title, URL or resource ID;
- the original work, book, notes, logo or other material you are identifying;
- the name of the rights holder and your relationship to them;
- the reason you believe the material should be removed, disabled or corrected;
- supporting evidence, such as an official publication page, publisher page, ownership record or authorization; and
- a working email address or phone number for follow-up.
What SCHOLIX May Do
After receiving a sufficiently detailed request, SCHOLIX may contact you for clarification, temporarily disable access to the resource while reviewing the claim, correct attribution, or remove the material when appropriate. A resource may remain unavailable while a genuine ownership dispute is being evaluated.
Please submit claims in good faith
Do not knowingly submit false ownership information or request removal of material that you do not own or represent. If your concern is only an attribution error, say so and provide the correction instead of requesting complete removal.
Send the Request
