SCHOLIX Editorial Standard

How SCHOLIX creates, checks and labels USAT preparation content

SCHOLIX.PK is an independent education platform. This page explains how we separate official exam information, original learning material, student recalls and third-party resources so students can understand what they are reading and how much confidence to place in each source.

Editorial standard reviewed: October 2026

Official facts are checked against primary sources

Test structure, category names, published weightages and official instructions are checked against HEC/ETC material where available. Students should still verify current dates, eligibility and final instructions on the official HEC/ETC portal because schedules and notices can change.

SCHOLIX practice is created for learning, not presented as leaked papers

Original practice questions, worked examples, quizzes and mock-paper selections are designed to practise the skills and subject areas used in USAT preparation. We do not label SCHOLIX-created practice as an official HEC paper.

Student recalls are labelled separately

When a topic or question is based on student/community recall, it is treated as recalled material rather than a verified verbatim official paper. Recalled wording may be incomplete, changed or inaccurate, so the underlying concept is checked before it is used for teaching.

Corrections are part of the publishing process

Educational pages and question explanations can be corrected when a factual, mathematical, wording or source problem is identified. Major exam-format information is reviewed again when HEC/ETC publishes new material.

Advertising does not decide educational answers

SCHOLIX may display advertising to support the platform. Advertisers do not choose quiz answers, lesson conclusions, rankings, editorial recommendations or which academic facts are published.

Our source hierarchy

Material typeHow we treat itStudent use
HEC/ETC notices and published documentsPrimary reference for official structure, categories and instructions.Use for official requirements and verify the latest notice before test day.
Official sample papersReference for published question style and paper construction.Use to understand format and expected reasoning style.
SCHOLIX-created lessons and practiceOriginal educational material prepared around the relevant skill or subject.Use for concept learning, practice, weak-area repair and timed preparation.
Student/community recallsClearly treated as recall evidence, not automatically as an official verbatim paper.Use to identify recurring themes and practise the underlying concept.
Third-party books/notes/resourcesShown with source or ownership context where available.Use as supplementary study material and report rights/source concerns when needed.

How a learning page is prepared

  1. 1Identify the exact USAT skill, section or category the page is intended to teach.
  2. 2Check official structure/weightage claims against HEC/ETC material when those claims are relevant.
  3. 3Write the explanation around the student task: what to know, how to solve, common mistakes and what to practise next.
  4. 4Keep original practice separate from official samples and from student-recalled material.
  5. 5Review the page when a correction is reported or when new official information changes the guidance.

Corrections and source questions

If you find a wrong answer, unclear explanation, outdated test detail, missing attribution or a resource-rights issue, send the page URL and a short description through SCHOLIX support. We review corrections against the best available source before changing published material.

Official exam information remains with HEC/ETC

SCHOLIX is not affiliated with HEC. Always use the official HEC/ETC portal for registration, roll-number slips, eligibility, test dates and final instructions.
