Guide 01
Choose resources for your actual USAT category
Every category shares Verbal and Quantitative Reasoning, but the 30 academic questions differ. Choose USAT-M, CS, E, A, COM or GS before spending time on subject notes. Use the Academic Preparation guide to check your category's subjects and question distribution.
A useful study session starts with one concept, then a short set of questions. Record errors by topic so your next reading session answers a specific weakness instead of repeating material you already know.
Guide 02
What each resource type is best for
| Resource | Use it for | Follow it with |
|---|---|---|
| Notes | Review a definition, method or worked example. | A short topic quiz and an explanation of missed answers. |
| Books | Build a broader sequence of concepts in your selected subject. | Chapter practice and spaced revision. |
| Past papers and recalls | Spot recurring skills and practise question styles. | Source checks, topic repair and a fresh mock. |
Guide 03
Check sources before relying on a file
- Treat student-recalled questions as practice, not guaranteed official wording.
- Check the current HEC/ETC notice for dates, eligibility, categories and final exam instructions.
- Use the SCHOLIX Paper Pattern and Syllabus guides when deciding which topics deserve time.
- If a resource looks inaccurate or raises a rights concern, use the Contact or Copyright Removal page to report it.
Sources, review and corrections
This guide separates official HEC/ETC information from SCHOLIX-created learning material and student/community recalls. Official dates, eligibility and final instructions should always be verified through HEC/ETC.
