Read the sentence before the options
- Predict whether the blank needs a positive, negative or neutral idea.
- Notice contrast words such as although, however and despite.
- Notice cause/result words such as therefore, because and consequently.
- Identify the required part of speech.
- Choose the option that makes the complete sentence natural and logical.
