Guide 01

One bank, three practice modes

SCHOLIX stores each headword once with its meaning, Urdu support, common forms, synonyms and useful antonyms. Vocabulary, Synonym and Antonym practice are different activities generated from that same record, so students do not face three competing word lists.

Guide 02

Five-part word-learning method

  • Meaning: write a short definition you understand.
  • Synonym: connect the word to a familiar near-meaning.
  • Antonym: identify the opposite direction when useful.
  • Context: write one natural sentence using the word.
  • Recall: cover the meaning and retrieve it without looking.

Guide 03

Guide 04

Avoid the biggest vocabulary mistake

Do not confuse recognition with recall. Seeing a word and thinking it looks familiar is not enough. You should be able to produce its meaning or a close synonym before checking your notes.

Sources, review and corrections

This guide separates official HEC/ETC information from SCHOLIX-created learning material and student/community recalls. Official dates, eligibility and final instructions should always be verified through HEC/ETC.
